Hit On The Head Causing A Bump With Pus. Is This Normal?

Hi I accidentally hit my head on my screen door. I am a klutz and shut the screen door on my head. I instantly got a bump. It still is very big, size of a quarter, and infected. Some puss just came out. Is this normal? I just knocked my head, I didn t cut it but it still hurts just the same and is puss filled. I cleaned it out really good and put some hydrogen peroxide on it. Hopefully it s nothing to be concerned about.

Hi thanks for your question
You have developed hematoma (collection of blood under skin) on your head after you got hit on it by door screen. This hematoma has got infected.
Since the infected hematoma is big,
It needs to be drained. You’re advised to consult some surgeon to get your puss drained.
And take antibiotic like leofloxicin to control your infection,
If you’re having pain
You can take analgesics (pain killer).
Hope I answered your question.
