Ho Can I Get Rid Of The Bumps On Head Which Worsens After Applying Oil?

i am 50 years and i have had bumps on my head for about 20 years it is not from shaving ,its all over my head it gets worse if i use oil, grease or even water if it stays on my head.it also leaves an ugly black mark .what can i do to get rid of this.

hi. thank or posting your concern on this forum.

I would advice against use of hair oil OR any other hair products on the scalp since it could be one of the factors responsible for the bumps OR making it worse.

Bumps could be because of some underlying scalp condition like seborrhoeic dermatitis which if taken care of by medicated shampoos and topical gels/lotions could relieve you from this long standing concern.

Its advisable to visit a nearby dermatologist to find out the most appropriate solution for the problem.
