Hoe Long Do The Side Effects Of Sedation Post Surgery Remain?
Our patient is having oral surgery to extract wisdom teeth on Monday, with sedation using: versed, propofol and possibly Fentanyl. According to side effects listed, pt. might need to stop Prozac prior to sedation, but it looks like the withdrawl symptoms, could cause potential problems as well.

Anti-depressants need to be stopped before surgery.
Kindly consult your anesthetist and psychiatrist regarding the exact number of days and hours to stop anti-depressant.
