Home Remedies For Swollen Toe Due To Uric Acid
I m a male of 65 years old and have been experiencing swollen of the big toe of the right feet followed by severe pain due to gout or uric acid for two days which had been diagnosed earlier found in my blood . But unfortunately i lost the prescription but all I remember was advise of dipping the foot into hot water for 5-10 minutes. Can u recommend me any home or natural remedies to get rid of the swell and the pain? Your co-operation will be deeply appreciated.

I think the one you forgot is epsom salt. Otherwise to cure gout amongst herbal remedies guggul is fore most and kaishore guggul is recommended the most. There are other remedies like G amrita etc which work good. Punarnava is good in inflammatory stage.

Take Kokilakshadi kashaya 15 ml twice a day diliuted with 1/2 cup of lukewarm water and Kaishora guggulu 2 tabs thrice a day.Stop eating non vegetarian of you are one.Take Eranda tailam 2 tsp at bedtime for purgation once a week.Apply Balaguduchyadi tailam over the affected part and do not massage vigorously.Drink more fluids and avoid alchohol

u r doing right thing
in acute attack of gout u need to take certain medicine like colchicine etc.
u can do hot fomentation also
avoid very cold exposure
wear cotton socks
