Horrid Pain Across The Back Below Shoulder Blades After A Surgical Abortion

I had a surgical abortion today. I was discharged at 2pm (uk) and since then I have had a horrid pain in across my back about 2 inhes below my shoulder blades. Is this common? I have never suffered with back pain not even during my previous two pregnancies.

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

I suspect these pain could be due to the position you where in bed while on surgical abortion.
This will go away as the times goes on in one or two days.
Nothing to be concerned too much about this.
Better take some pain killers like Ibuprofen.
Your gynecologist may prescribed this after the abortion procedure for pain.
Drink plenty of water.
Take rest.
