All they gave me was baby aspirin and Tramadol for pain which don't help
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M.. Forum. 1 May be due to pericardial effusion ( pericarditis ) can be confirmed by M R I and consult a cardiologist and get his opinion. As there is breathlessness ( shortness of breath), left side pain , chest hurts, even aspirin and tramadol ( most potent pain killer ) are not effective. In my opinion this is an emergency and you should consult a cardiologist at once. 2 myocardial infarction as this is an acute stage hence consult a physician as E K G shows findings after 6-12 hours of attack. In my opinion deal accordingly above mentioned . Good luck. Dr. HET
