How Accurate Will Blood Test To Confirm A Positive Pregnancy Test?
hi...my husband and i try to have a baby as soon as possible. on my third day, 12th Jan. 2012 of period i been given ovamit and folic acid by doctor. then on 19th, doctor have done scanning to see either there is an egg in my ovary. After found there is an egg, i have been given injection for ovary induction. On 30th, I have been advised to come and see doctor again for a blood test. My big question here is how accurately blood test to find either i am pregnant or not in a short period ? It just 8 days after ovulation. tq

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion blood test for pregnancy detects accurately a week after ovulation.You need not worry.But a urine pregnancy test is done a week after missed period for best results.
