How An Adult Attention Deficit Disorder Be Treated?

I was diagnosed with add when I was 17.. they prescribed me adderall. It did wonders for me. Now here I am 20 years later and I ve been on the same dose for 14 years. That dose is 3 ( 30mg) a day. Obviously my body is use to it and I can t function at times. I feel that I need 4 (30mg) a day. Help

Hi,

You are right, you may need to increase the dose. However, this is not always the case. You are already taking quite a good dose. I would suggest you should talk to your doctor he would assess you to see. He would also check if there could be any other cause for your problem like low blood etc. If he feels that you need an increase in dose, he would probably do that for you. But do not increase the dose with out proper consultation.
