How An Pain In The Ears And Throat Be Treated?

My throats and ears hurt. I can hardly swallow anything that isn t liquid. I took a light and looked into my mouth and was surprised to see all of these dark red blood vessels on the think that dangles -tonsil?, as well as the surrounding area. Should I be worried and what can I do to ease the pain? Thank you

The area is likely inflamed due an acute infection such as cough/cold. This causes a change in the appearance of the throat.

Pain can be treated with topical medication such as covonia throat spray or chloroseptic spray or with oral medications such as ibuprofen or naproxen.
