Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a rash on one side of my nose that looks like eczema or dermatiits.Redness, Itchy, Flaky, I tried cortisone at first, then neosporin. Neither helped. It looks like it spread now to my eyelids?? I feel that this may be contagious as it spread. Can it be contagious? what should i do to get it under control?
As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
