How Can ovarian Cyst Along With Lower Abdominal Pain be Treated?

I m 21 years old,married, not having a baby. every once in a mnth i use to hav heavy left lower abdominal pain. Frequent scanning report showed that a cyst measuring 6.7 s present in left ovary. And advised me to take yamini tablet for 21 days starting from first day of menses, aftr that i hav to undergo scanning to check its condition. Please tell me weather it is safe to take the tablet. And will this cyst or tablet will make any complications for me in getting pregnant??

Hello,

Yamin is a contraceptive tablet and during the time you use it you will not be able to get pregnant. After you stop it normally the ovulation should start again and you should not have problem with conception related to its use.

Some doctors believe it can reduce the cysts in the ovaries and that is why they give it for a few months. Generally cysts over 6 cm need to be evaluated carefully and if they continue to grow they need to be removed surgically and examined to rule out tumors.
