How Can pain In The Lower Back And Shoulder Be Treated?

I ve been experiencing weird symptoms the last 5 months, starting with one of the muscles in my back aching. chiro didn t help. A few weeks go by and the pain goes into my lower back and hips, eventually my neck shoulders and upper back. Then all of my joints, 24/7 pressure type headache started, and constant brain fogginess. Forgetfulness, etc. my new dr tested for mono and it came back positive! Is all of this related to the mono, and will these symptoms eventually go away as my body heals?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I suggest you take medication for infectious mononucleosis and wait for symptoms to disappear. If the symptoms do not disappear after completion of medication, then you need to see your doctor again.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
