How Can severe Parkinson S Disease Be Treated?

My 79 year old father, who has Parkinsons, woke up after falling asleep in his chair, with slurred speech, unable to steer his walker straight and now says his arms are tingling. Is this a reason to call an ambulance, or is it okay to wait and call his doctor tomorrow ? He is talking normal now and is in bed.

Hello,

It is better to go to the hospital at the earliest and get a CT scan to rule out possibilities like a stroke.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
