Hello, I have been battling what has been diagnosed as Cellulitius for the past seven long years to no avail . It gets better but never goes completely away and then it comes back again. I have seen several doctors including Dermatologist. This last episode has been treated in a hospital. They start out as little o s and form into what looks like worms. All of the doctors here say they are not worms and have somewhat labeled me as being Hallucination, seeing things.
Hello, Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic! I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
Cellulitis is bacterial in origin most of the cases. proper antibiotic therapy is the corner stone for the treatment of this condition. I suggest you to consult a physician and get the following things done:- 1. Antibiotic therapy, preferably by intravenous root for seven to ten days. 2. Analgesics like tramdol for pain. 3. Check your blood sugar level to rule out diabetes(undetected diabetes can cause recurrent attacks of cellulitis) 4. Limb elevation. 5.Do a doppler scan to rule out deep vein thrombosis which can present with similar symptoms. 6. vasodialators like cilastazole for improving blood circulation.
Wishing you good health. Regards. Dr Shinas
