How Can severe Nausea Along With Vomiting Be Treated?

Hi, so for a while now on the first day of my minstrel cycle I get nauseous and vomit and it s hard to even keep water down. I also get really temperature sensitive like I got sent home from work because going from the freezer to the heat up front made me sick and I get shaky and loose color not seems. Then the next day I m usually ok with mild cramps.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It happens to get gastrointestinal symptoms when getting the menstrual cycle. This is due to the same innervation the GI and genital tracts have.

Try to avoid what aggravate the symptoms, apply warm compresses on your tummy, take Mefenamic Acid for pain.

If vomiting or nausea will persist, they should look for other reasons.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
