How Can severe Shoulder Pain Be Treated?

I think I pulled muscle in shoulder while I was bowling or tore something. My shoulder is in a lot of pain and I cannot put any pressure on it. Like when I am trying to stand up from sitting position. It really hurts and seems like it is increasingly getting worse.

It could be a ligament tear. Consult local orthopaedics doctor and get X-ray done. Try to rule out any abnormalities.
