How Can severe Swelling And Pain In The Ankle be Treated?
I have a swollen right foot on resting foot swelling continued, the bone from big toe, about 3 from toe area up the ankle and lower shin, tender to touch. Have not injured foot or dropped anything on it nor knocked it. Unable to wear slippers as foot continues to swell,Mohave put cold compress on has not helped, have foot raised has not helped, no marking cuts or bruises, can walk on foot without any pain or discomfort

Your symptoms seem to be related to rheumatoid arthritis.
I would suggest you do a rheumatoid factor level and an X-ray of the leg to confirm the diagnosis.
Meanwhile, I would recommend taking an anti-inflammatory medication such as Naproxen.
