I am a retired RN. Has seen it all. This case is familiar and I am afraid to suggest what the diagnosis could possiblly be...I recommended an immediate visit to a neurologist. Hopefully you will not confirm my fear of what he will find out....... A 50 yr. old man, with the following signs and symptoms that have been going on for a few years except now the intensity and frequency is increasing. : tingling and numbing in limbs , occasional lower lip swelling and chapping, weakness and unsteady legs with pain on thighs affecting gait , unexplained fatigue, burning chest pain (Heart issue ruled out) frequent problem with bowel and urinary function ,muscle stiffness/ spasms, anxiety.
