How Can severe Tailbone Pain Be Treated?

About 4 weeks ago I stepped off of a step ladder not knowing there was a chair behind me. I weigh about 230 lbs. and I sat on the corner of the chair back with immediate pain in my tail bone. It is now uncomfortable to ride in a car or sit in certain positions. Will this eventually go away?

Hi,

Yes, it will go away and heal as per your priorities and the damage done. If you get the treatment it will heal without any doubt as should have been.

In case you let it go it will heal as per the situation if it is a simple hairline fracture, you will heal as normal does, other conditions may have little consequences after healing.

I will suggest you get an X-ray or CT of region done, consult an orthopedic expert and have planned treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
