Hello. I am trying to look into being officially diagnosed and treated for ADHD, if it isn t that, then my only other guess would be chronic fatigue. My issues with doing this are: my father is a local physician and most physicians shy from having me as a patient because of this. I am now his caretaker, so going out of town is difficult, and I also thinks looks bad legally. My next problem is, the only doctor i have seen is a friend of my fathers, and he has not kept any medical history on me. I am sick of being pushed in the corner, having conditions ignored, being treated for things I don t have, and once again legally, this looks bad. Lastly, I have no medical insurance and will be paying out of pocket. I am heavily tattooed in the south and most medical professionals assume I just trying to score drugs . Any advice on how to handle my predicament would be greatly appreciated.
