How Can ADHD Be Treated?

what is the best and most cost effective ADHD medicine for a 10 year old? He has more of an issue of not being able to pay attention and focus rather than sit still. He can sit still ok, so if there is a medicine that is geared more towards focus that is what I am looking for

Your is suffering from a psychiatry disorder which is very common in children. So we should deal the case carefully. In psychiatric problems, medicine alone is not a good treatment. Along with medicine, there should be a good counselling. It is better to increase counselling dose rather than medicine dose. Because ADHD improves with age. So better not to be exposed to side effects of higher doses. Amphetamine is most commonly used. It is better to use Extended release amphetamine.
Still higher version is Extended release Methylphenidate.
