How Can ADHD Be Treated?

I am an instructor of 12 graders. There are 11 students in my class. One of them, a male, has an IEP, diagnosed with ADHD, how can I best help this young man to be ready for adulthood. He said he wanted to be a plumber but did not take any plumbing classes.
