my grandaughter is 7 has adhd and odd, she started with Adderall and in 3 mo she lost 10 lbs so the dr changed it to vyvance she has gained 1 and half lb and got the flu and lost 1 pound. the second medication is working good in school is thre a better choice for her

Hello,

If the second drug working better means why you want to change it again.

Many medications are there like stimulant medications like amphetamine, dextroamphetamine, dexmethylphenidate, Lisdexamfetamine, methylphenidate etc.

Non-stimulant medications: atomoxetine, clonidine, guanfacine etc. Each drug has its own side effects so you may consult your paediatrician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
