COPD with
asthma can be regulated however can't be cured.
COPD lead to increase lung volume and body get used to low oxygen level. However for COPD control commonly used are home based
oxygen therapy.
this is found to be most successful treatment
along with drugs like inhalation
steroids and beta agonists.
Avoid smoky environment, allergen, vigrous exercise
and don't skip medication.
Also take care during changing weather as COPD prone to develop
chest infection.
If you have not started on any treatment it will be wise in my opinion to
consult pulmonologist for base line examination and investigation
also for starting treatment.
And if you are already on treatment but not of much help speak to treating doctor so that he can change drugs you are taking or if required investigate you further.
Wish you all the very best
