How Can COPD And Bronchitis Be Treated?

Yes,I was diagnosed with early COPD over a year ago, Feb & March of 2017 I had Acute Bronchitis & took 3 rounds of antibiotics & steroids aslo took breathing TX & used an inhaler the dr. said I had a COPD flare up. I developed Bronchitis Dec 23,2017 & have been sick since then, been to the dr. 3 times & given antibiotics steroids & taking breating TX at home.have had flu test x2 which have been negative also chest xrays x2. to rule out pneumonia, could this be the COPD causing so much sickness?

Hello,

Inhaled corticosteroids and bronchodilators will be helpful in your case. A short course of oral corticosteroids and antibiotics will be needed if no improvement.
