How Can DVT Along With Pain In The Forehead Be Treated?
Have had two DVT about six months ago. Have been taking Xarelto for that same amount of time. For the last four or five days have been having slight pain on the left side of my forehead and have had an itchy left eye. Not a lot of pain overall but now the pain has also moved to the top of my head and is becoming a little worse and more of throbbing than before.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hello,
Though after six months of DVT (Deep vein thrombosis), it is less likely to be scared. But the little possibility of thromboembolism (especially after stopping the anticoagulant) needs to get checked up to find the cause of a headache and exclude the possibility of embolism.
Get deep veins checked is also important from the preventive point of view. Take rest and continue with blood pressure medicines and drink lots of water.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale
