Hello thanks for asking from HCM

Dear friend its impossible for anyone to have HIV and no symptoms and negative tests. You should get HIV rapid test done to rule out any infection, the chances are almost nil.

The fear you developed when you felt someone stick needle in your arm and you might develop HIV is due to anxiety only. But in most cases of HIV infection acute symptoms are seen with in 4 weeks. If you are symptoms free for 14 years then you are safe. Remain relaxed.

Thanks and take care
