How Can HPV Infection Be Treated?

I was recently diagnosed with HPV causing genital warts I never went to get checked out completly because the doctor at the time told me it should clear up in 4 months and don t worry I m young(19)So I changed my way of living to clear my immune system. I have read that this virus isn t known to clear up you still may have it with no symptoms fine with that. but recently I have been examining body and I noticed bumps on the back of my time I have looked at different pictures to see if anything relates to what I have and I ran into the word Circumvallate papillae. Could you please tell me what this is and does my hpv have anything to do with this I am going to set a doctor appointment it just seems like my life is going down hill at such a early age and I don t know what to do anymore

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Common symptoms of some types of HPV are warts, especially genital warts. They commonly affect the vulva in women, or possibly the cervix, and the penis or scrotum in men. They may also appear around the anus and in the groin.
I dont think that the bump on the back are related to HPV virus.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
