How Can H.Pylori Infection And Stomach Ulcers Be Treated?

I am 78 years old. My doctor tells me that the foaming in my mouth, which I believe is coming from my stomach, is because of my age and not producing enough soliver (sp?). I have had H Pylori, and two ulcers in my stomach. I was treated for H Pylori took the balloon test and was clear. This was a few years ago. I threw up foam when I had the ulcers and H-Pylori. I feel it is something else wrong, not just lack of not producing saliver (sp?).

General & Family Physician 's  Response
It could be H pylori infection. It could also be an atrophied gastritis which is quite common in elderly. Diet modification to less spicy and less hot food and elevating your head end while sleeping will provide some relief. And drink plenty of water. During your H pylori therapy, you might hva gotten a course of proton pump inhibitors( Pantoprazole or the likes) Take it regularly for two weeks. If it's not getting better you might want to consult a gastroenterologist and get an endoscopy.
Thank you.
