How Can I Bring Up The Banana Piece That Has Got Stuck In Throat?
I laughed at a joke on tv and inhaled a piece of banana i was eating, i tried getting it out, but i didnt feel it come up so i tried swallowing it strongly, and i think it went down the wrong way, because it feels like its in the lowest part of my throat before it goes into my chest. It feels like its in there but its really uncomfortable, i try coughing but nothing happens. Im drinking room temperature water and its not helping at all. Theres no cold water bottles, so thats not an option. Im not going to make myself throw up, what are other options??
Choking followed by persistent breathlessness occurs which isn't cased with you. Banana is less likely to get stuck in the digestive tract.
Sudden forceful swallowing leads to foreign body sensation for some time. It should go on its own. You may try using topical anaesthetic gel-like sucralfate.
