Hello,

Since you are suffering from pollen induced allergy, you are advised to prefer staying indoors from December to March since it triggers your symptoms. Use air filters at home, avoid outdoor exposure at peak pollen times, shower and change clothes after coming indoors. Take antihistamines but avoid taking steroids as steroids cause increased appetite and hence weight gain and may also cause fluid retention.

Avoid taking extra salt and salty snacks and food in this season. Avoid taking high-histamine foods like fermented, pickles, aged cheese, vinegars, etc. Stay away from alcohol and stress, both physical and emotional. Taking food rich in omega 3 is helpful or you can also take omega 3 supplements. You suffer from urticaria because of high IgE activation during this season. You can control it by taking proper food as advised. Get clinically examined by a allergy specialist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
