At this age
hormonal shifts can trigger clogged pores due to irregular diet or high sugar/dairy intake.
Stress, lack of good sleep, eating packaged and processed food can also cause
acne.
Benzoyl peroxide worked but do not make it a habit to use it. You will have to follow a certain routine, like taking a daily bath and changing clothes from inside out.
Avoid taking alcohol and
smoking, and stay away from all addictions. Also, avoid sugary foods and any kind of fried or junk food. Eat more omega-3-rich foods like flaxseed, walnuts, and fish if you are a non-vegetarian. Avoid taking red meat. Sleep 7–8 hours and manage stress.
Wash your face with a gentle cleanser before steaming. Boil water on the stove and pour it into a bowl once it’s steaming. Place a towel over your head and bend down toward the water for 2-3 minutes. It will help to clear the clogged pores to prevent acne. You can get it done in a parlor for convenience. To prevent acne, prefer to take a vegetarian diet over non-vegetarian food.
