How Can I Get Rid Of A Lump On My Right Shoulder Between My Deltoid Muscle And Collar Bone?
Hello, I have discovered a lump on my right shoulder, just on top of it between my deltoid muscle and collar bone. I have had pain in the shoulder for several weeks and just noticed the lump today. It s probably about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, I can sort of move it, and it is somewhat soft. I ve never had anything like this. What do you think it is, and how can I get rid of it?
Such a lump on shoulder after pain for a long time is most probably a synovioma. This is inflamed and enlarged as body's over reaction to the inflammatory process. I would advise you to consult your doctor for preliminary examination and investigations and treatment.
Also, give rest to the shoulder by putting the limb in a sling. Get a referral for an orthopedic surgeon for further clinical examination, second opinion and plan for management like medicines or surgery as indicated.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
