How Can I Get Rid Off The Redness Left By A Burn On Forearm?

I recently noticed a red scar like burn on my forearm. I am thinking its from cooking ( maybe something splattered) It has been 7 days since I noticed it and it s still red it looks flatter then it was when I noticed it. What should I do to get rid of the redness
