Good afternoon sir I wanted to know about my 16 years old son my son studies in class12 but he didn t confined himself and sometime he behave very strange that he ask that he does not want to live. I wanted to consult a doctor but he did not want to go. Please sir understand my problem and clear it

Hi,

Your child seems to be suffering from symptoms of anxiety and/or depression. Ideation of suicidal thoughts is an emergency for which you should immediately consult a psychiatrist. Your child may be needed treatment with counselling or treatment with anxiolytic or/and anti-depressive medicines etc., under guidance of a psychiatrist.
