Hello,
Since you were prescribed Nuforce-GM cream, and after application your skin was a little better, it is suggestive of
allergic dermatitis, possibly fungal infections, and acne., Drink plenty of water, hydrate yourself well. Make lots of fruits, vegetables, and
omega-3 (flaxseeds, walnuts) a part of your diet. Avoid sugar, dairy, and oily snacks, because they worsen acne. Avoid touching your face every now and then. Do not use a dirty pillowcase.
Taking a regular bath. You can use a medicated herbal soap. Prefer to take vegetarian food over non-veg. Pipoff gel helps reduce pimples, but it can dry or irritate skin. Nuforce - GM is a strong
steroid ointment. Using strong steroid creams for long periods is not recommended, as it will harm the skin. You are advised to keep your skin clean; you can use a herbal cleanser. You can use water-based moisturizers and sunscreen. SPF 30+ when outdoors.
Before going to bed, clean your skin and apply a thin layer of moisturizing cream for night that is water-based. Avoid applying makeup and eat food rich in fiber so that you do not get constipated.
Constipation can trigger acne. Use
retinoids or azelaic acid for smoother skin. You can get clinically examined. by a
dermatologist, get
allergy testing done.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
