How Can I Manage Persistent Hiccups When Getting Treated For Pneumonia?

hi, my dad is having constant hiccups over a week now, he was admitted to hospital with pneumonia and is home now but still can t get rid of his hiccups and nothing has been prescribed for him for that by the doctors from the hospital please could you advise.
