I have klebsiella pneumoniae . I had mouth surgery April 13 2017 the oral surgern pulled teeth and put two post in my bottom gum into the bone o hold my new teeth I m getting . As I was healing I kelp telling th it was a lot on pain on my gum and all the way to my mouth on that side and could wear the denture it made it worse touching that area . They kelp saying maybe the post was on a nerve just give it time . Then my face neck mouth swelled up and I was having chills and sweats that would come and go . I kelp caking and kelp going back to doctor for five months with this spot of pain . He sent me to a infectious disease specialist he order a MRI and said there was infection in my gum and on the post . So they finally after waitin another couple weeks I kelp caking to book the surgery and it was done finally September 20 he cut out post and remove gum and bone all the way back towards back of jaw area , I went a week later for post opp and he tells me I have klebsiella pneumonia and sends me to the infectious disease specialist for treatment . I m at home now with a pick line doing antibiotics iv once a day for six to eight weeks . I m in first week of meds . They came to draw blood today to see if this antibiotics I m on is working because the antibiotics he wonted to put me on was Flagyl and I m allergic I have anaphylactic shock if taken . How did I get this infection more than Liky? I noticed the first week that area was hurting more and more when the rest of my mouth felt better every day . The other post across from that area didn t get this and healed well and didn t hurt off the bat . So how did I get this rear disease
