How Can Lyme Disease Be Treated?

My daughter just got diagnosed with lyme disease about a month ago but the doctor says he will wait 3 months to treat because she is in the 1st of three strands that does not need medication. He will check again and see if it stayed in the 1st strand. Please advice about this matter and if we need to find a snd opinion immediately.

I understand your concern.
Treatment of Lyme disease consist in antibiotics.
Antibiotics commonly used for oral treatment include doxycycline, amoxicillin, or cefuroxime axetil.
I think you should get a second opinion.
