i wanted to go into rehab after my mother died one year apart from my father and i relapsed and lost over 10kg on heroin but to go into rehab i had to go into the detox first where i was put on 12mg of suboxone so after the 2nd day i discharged myself but before i could leave they had their doctor come in and sign me up for a methadobe program and i only agreed to very little and i told the dr - 10mg and he said it will only be a small dose but it turned out to be 30mg and because i know from previous experience how hard it was to come out of my body it made me use on top and i am now on 40mg. i was on 60mg before my father died and i reduced 5mg per week which the dr didn t agree with but i was incarcerated so i don t really think he gave that much of a damn- i reduced right down to 2mg and off and have never been prouder of myself and now this had happed and my dr just wont listen to how much this is effecting my life - i also self medicated from heroin withdrawal using 10mg on the first day then 6mg on the second day nothing on the third day and 4mg on the fourth day and then nothing and i felt great (obviously the suboxone was given to me by friends) and i took the doses over the period of the days in question. I now have 40mg in my possession and have told my dr this and that it has worked for me before but that was on heroin not methadone and he just jokes it off and says that i may need more methadone - I DONT WANT ANYTHING OTHER THAN SPENDING MY INHERITANCE ON HEROIN WHICH HE KNOWS THAT I HAVE BUT IT WONT LAST USING THAT DRUG. HOW CAN I WITHDRAW OFF OF THE METHADONE USING SUBOXONE AS I HAVENT DONE IT WITHDRAWING FROM METHADONE PLEASE HELP ME IM NEARLY 53 AND WAS DOING REALLY WELL PRIOR TO MY FATHER DYING AND THEN MY MOTHER A YEAR ONE MONTH AND ONE DAY TO THE DAY LAST YEAR yours sincerely, debra
