How Can PCOD Problems Be Treated In A Woman Wanting To Conceive?

i am 25 years old .... i got married before 4 years...i am little fat.... i am working in a school as a coordinator... i didnt get consive still... i want to know a special doctor related to this .... i have checked doctor they said PCOD what does it mean what should i do for it.... nowadays my periods become irrregular... i want to get consive soon .... kindly suggest me some tips related to this.....

Hi, I think you should consult a gynecologist or infertility specialist. In pcod patients, there is problem with ovulation and thus periods are irregular. Do a thyroid profile and prolactin levels also. You may need some medicines like clomiphene for the growth of your follicles and track your follicles growth by repeated ultrasound and when your follicles is more than 17 to 18 mm, take injection for rupturing the follicles. Be in contact with your husband every 2 to 3 days after your periods stop. Take progesterone for next 2 weeks. Do a urine pregnancy test at home after that. You can try like that for 3 to 6 months. Talk to your doctor regarding this.
