How Can UTI Be Treated?

I got a UTI a week ago and started AZO over the weekend. The first antibiotic didn t work and my doctor started me on a new medication after the weekend. Unfortunately it is taking a few Days for the new antibiotic to work and I really need AZO until it kicks in. Can you take AZO for 6 days if you absolutely have to

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Herewith I can give you more specifications for the UTI as
- Culture-specific and sensitive antibiotics work best rather than empiric antibiotics in many instances.
- The supportive tool of anti-inflammatory medicines, urinary alkaliser help
- Hydration with plenty of liquids.
- Genital hygiene care.
- Avoidance of sex if there is any.
- Maintenance of blood sugar.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
