How Can UTI Be Treated?

I have an asymptomatic UTI and 2 rounds of antibiotics for this specific bacteria didn t clear it up. I am allergic to most antibiotics and I am taking cranberry capsules which my urologist supports. I take them ongoing including while I was on the antibiotic.. I have no burning or pain or the usual symptoms but still have the bacteria. A friend who is a nurse told me she got rid of a staph infection that antibiotics didn t cure by taking Garlic Force a supplement put out by New Chapter. Also someone else said it worked for a UTI. I have read there can be a reaction between cranberry supplements and garlic supplements. Is this true? And if so many days must I be off the cranberry before starting the garlic supplement? Thank you.
