General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The urine report should also say the type of bacteria causing the infection and which antibiotics would work and which ones would not have an effect.

This would help her doctor determine what to prescribe.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James
