How Can A Bat Bite On The Hand Be Treated?

I have a possible bite on my hand. It is two dots that are about 3 cm apart. Is there a way to tell if it s a bat bite? I haven t had a bat in my house that I m aware of and I haven t come in contact with a bat otherwise. We have had two cases of bats with rabies confirmed in our city in the past week.

Hello,

You can take anti rabies vaccine in case of any suspected wild animal bite. You have to take full course of rabies vaccine as wild animals bite including bat is highly prone for rabies. Bat bite does not has any specific pattern and it can vary from bite to bite.

Hope I have answered your query.
