How Can A Bee Sting Be Treated?

Hello!

I was stung by a bee on my ear 5 days ago. Now I have a throbbing pain in my ear. Also, in front of my ear I have developed a lump and a lump ( maybe swollen lymph node) on my neck.

Should I seek medical attention? What treatment would best benefit me?

Hello,

It looks like allergic reaction to the bee sting and also there is infection leading to be pain in ear, throbbing, and swollen lymph nodes. So my suggestion is to consult an emergency room and get evaluated. They can give you a steroid shot for immediate relief and along with it you will be advised a course of antibiotics and painkillers and along with it anti-allergy medicine like Benadryl. Also do cool compresses over the lymph nodes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Honey Arora
