How Can A Bee Sting Be Treated?

My husband was stung by a bee while camping and consuming alcohol. About two days after the bee sting he was still quite swollen and started displaying extreme drunken behaviour even though the amount of alcohol he consumed was not extremely excessive. It is a very upsetting incident and we are just wondering if there is any medical situation.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
In my opinion he can be treated with antiallergic medicine like fexofenadine 120 mg once daily for 3 to 4 days.
An analgesic can also be given for pain relief.
It would be appropriate to get a blood examination done to look for any infection at sting site.
The test needed would be Complete blood count
