How Can A Blood Filled Blister On The Upper Lip Be Treated?

Hey my upper lip is starting to discolored , there a pimple that won t go away that is filled a pool a blood when I last poped it and still there and it s getting so dry lately also blood vessels are starting to pop in my face . I m not sure what to do Please help I m to young

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

As per your query you have symptoms of blood filled blister on the upper lip which seems to be due to accumulation of fluid on under surface of lips and it could be due to allergic reaction as well. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit allergy specialist once and get complete examination done. Do not bite or suck the lips with teeth. A short course of steroids like cortisone along with application of calamine lotion over the lips could improve your symptoms. You should apply cold compresses. If it is due to allergic reaction immunotherapy is advisable.
