How Can A Bruised Lump On The Forehead Be Treated?
I am a 3rd year medical student in need of advice:: My friend accidentally hit me in the forehead with the thin side of a cellphone about 3 weeks ago... the large bump and bruising went away after 1.5 wk, but a small bump, which is still tender to touch, remains. Is this fibrous tissue, a small superficial hematoma, or should i go to the doctor? Ideally, id like to make this go away... Any advice would be great.

Hello,
The symptoms are suggestive of a hematoma and is nothing but a collection of blood underneath the skin following a trauma.
Nothing much to worry as it will settle by itself. You can apply ice packs for faster recovery.
