How Can A Cat Scratch On The Index Finger Be Treated?

Hello, I have a kitten I was playing with this kitten She clawed me and the claw slipped through the skin between my right index finger nail (on the side) I made sure to wash when this happened and hoped it would go away It swelled up A few days later (today) I looked at the wound and saw a small patch of green At first glance I thought it was a bruise... looked again and saw the green color I picked it with a nail clipper and puss emerged I then recleaned with an anti bacterial pad... and placed a band aid over the area coated with anti bacterial cream Will I be ok?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
Get a tetanus shot and antirabies shot first.
You can apply antibiotics creams like mupirocin as signs of infection are there.
thanks
